This steel is improved on the base of DAC. The hardness during leaving factory reaches to HRC40-44; so no any heat treatment is needed but can be directly used in production, which greatly reduces machining time. It is mostly used in aluminum, zinc, magnesium alloy casting dies and extrusion dies, as well as often applied in high-hardness plastic dies, like engine dies and so on.
