Forging: 1.100~900℃
Anneal: Heat up to 800-850℃ and stay for 2-4h in this temperature to cool slowly in furnace;
Quenching: Pre-heat up to 550-600℃; then heat up to 950℃; and again heat up to: a:1,220~1250℃;b:1,200℃~1230℃; Quench in oil but the temperature of oil has to be kept 40-60℃. (a. common tools; b. complex tools requiring for flexibility.)
Backfire: Heat up to 550-570℃ and stay in this temperature; then keep still in air for cooling; to back fire has to repeat for twice.
Hardness: more than HRC63℃.
Uses: This steel is of high speed tungsten steel, adapted for making strong cutting tools of wear resistance, various tools of impact resistance, high grade punching dies, screw dies, complex tools requiring for flexibility, milling cutters, aiguilles and so on.
