The 2510 steel is of manganese- chrome-tungsten alloy steel, a kind of quality and nondeforming cold-work tools steel.
Characteristics:

(1) Extremely little in deforming, good in quenching, excellent in mechanical machining;

(2) Excellent in mechanical machining, stable in size during quenching, high in hardness after quenching;

(3) High in flexibility, excellent in wear resistance and easy to forge and quench;

(4) Widely used for cutting, cold punching and molding tools, such as cutting die, cold punching die, various gauge, milling tools, plastic die and so on.
