ASSAB ASP-23 steel is of chrome- molybdenum-vanadium powder steel. It has following characters:
 high wear resistance
 high anti-press strength
 good penetrability
 good flexibility
 stable size in heat treatment
 good anti-anneal softening
ASP-23 is especially adapted for thin processed blanking dies and molding, or the die that is disable because of mixing abrasion and adhibiting abrasion or grinding abrasion, moreover, the it is also more danger if the surface is deformed. Example:
 blanking die of mid-carbon steel or high-carbon steel
 punching hardened armor plate or cold-rolled steel strip
 plastic die contained fiberglass
 parts for plastic forming machine, like: screw, feed cylinder, nozzle, injection head, shattering cutter and so on.
