ASSAB 718HH steel is of vacuum melted chrome-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel. This steel has been quenched and backfired before leaving factory. It has following advantages:
 no risk of cracking and deforming in heat treatment
 no any cost for heat treatment
 shorten the period of die making
 reduce die’s cost (example: no rectifying and deforming)
 easy to correct die
 Nitrogenized treatment and flame-hardening treatment is allowed to increase side hardness and wear resistance.

Application:
 large long-life plastic injection dies such as household electric apparatus, computer crust and plastic products dies of high cleanness on surface;
 As is high in hardness, it is used as slide rod for plastic die, compress-brake dies and structure parts. (Flame hardening or nitrogenized treatment is available on demand.)
