MOLDMAX is a kind of high-strength Beryllium-copper alloy produced by Brush Wellman. It is adapted for plastic dies with the following characters:
 high heat induction
 excellent corrosion resistance
 excellent polishing
 excellent wear resistance
 excellent adhibit resistance
 excellent mechanical machining
 high strength and high hardness
 extremely excellent welding
MOLDMAX is widely used to manufacture inserts and cores for injection dies or steel dies. If used as insert, it can depress temperature in the area of heat concentration effectively, simply or leave out designing cooling channel.
MOLDMAX series products include: forged molding round and flat material, extrusion molding pipe materials, mechanical cutting core pins, ingot bars and various casting shaped materials.
The property of heat exchange is about 3-4 times excellent than that of dies steel, which guarantees plastic product cools quickly and evenly, as well as overcoming the shortages such as deformation and unclear, shortening production period in most condition.
